How much does it cost to advertise on teachFE?

Advertising on TeachFE is completely free for FE colleges.



How do I upload a vacancy on teachFE.com?

Before you upload a vacancy, you will need to register with TeachFE as a college.  Once you have registered, you will then be able to upload a vacancy by following our Vacancy Walkthrough



The site has told me that I have successfully uploaded my vacancy but it is still not displayed on the site

If you have only just registered, TeachFE.com will have to activate your registration before your vacancies are advertised.  This will normally be done within 12 hours during Monday to Friday.

Have you set the status of the vacancy to Active?  To do this you will need to view your vacancy via the control panel and change the status to active using the drop down box.



When I try to upload my vacancy my internet browser freezes

If you use apostrophes anywhere in the vacancy details then it may cause your browser to freeze.  Close and reopen your browser and then upload your vacancy again omitting any apostrophes.



When I try to amend/activate a vacancy, the site tells me that I do not have the correct access rights

Once submitted, vacancies can only be edited by either the administrator or the user who originally submitted the vacancy.
The administrator will be displayed in the control panel in the ‘Add User’ section.



Can I enable my colleagues to add vacancies to TeachFE.com?

Administrators can register your colleagues as ‘users’ via the ‘Add User’ section within the control panel.  Users will then be able to add vacancies, but they will not be able to edit vacancies that have been submitted by other members of staff.



How many documents can I upload for each vacancy?

You can upload up to 5 documents per vacancy by simply using the browse buttons at the bottom of the ‘New Vacancy’ screen.



How do I know if someone has applied for my vacancy?

If the applicant has applied online, you will receive an automated email from TeachFE telling you when someone has applied.  These applicants will also be listed on your control panel.  You can click on each applicant to view their contact details.

Otherwise you will either receive a request for an application form or the applicant will post their application directly to you.



How do I remove my vacancy?

To remove your vacancy, simply go into your control panel and click to view your active vacancies.  Click on the vacancy you would like to remove.  You can then change the status of your vacancy. Selecting Archived, Pending or Withdrawn will remove the vacancy from public view.



How do I register on TeachFE?

Registering with TeachFE is free of charge for FE colleges.  You can register your college on TeachFE by using our College Registration Walkthrough
