This document explains the way that teachFE.com, a business owned and operated
by Protocol National Limited, will process any personal data that is submitted to
the teachFE.com website (the “Website”).
What is personal data?
For the purposes of this policy, “personal data” means all information
of a biographical nature that relates to a living person and by which that person
can be identified which is entered onto or sent via the Website. This includes
but is not limited to name, address and other contact details (email, telephone),
date of birth, qualifications and any other information that may be included in
Candidate Details or otherwise made available on the Website.
How will teachFE.com use personal data?
Personal data may be accessed by employers who are registered to use the Website,
unless an individual has expressly indicated that their personal data should not
be made available to a particular employer organisation. teachFE.com will
process personal data and share it with other companies and businesses within the
Protocol Group of companies for the purposes of contacting them to offer any additional
work opportunities that they may identify. teachFE.com may also share personal
data with reputable third party organisations within the education sector provided
that they agree to use the data solely for the purpose of offering agreed benefits
or services to individuals and agree not to pass it to any other party.
teachFE.com does not control and cannot be held responsible for the processing by
colleges and employers of personal data contained in online job applications once
it has left the Website and if there are any concerns individuals should confirm
the data protection policies operated by any third party to whom they intend to
send personal data, whether via the Website or otherwise.
How long will the data be held?
teachFE.com may continue to hold personal data for up to six years after an individual
has indicated that they no longer wish to be an active user of the Website.
How secure is personal data?
The technical specification of the Website and rules imposed on all users of the
Website have been designed to protect personal data under the control of teachFE.com
from improper use or disclosure or any unauthorised destruction or accidental loss.
All processing of personal data by teachFE.com will be carried out in the UK.
No personal data will be exported outside the EU.
Is it possible to get a copy of data held?
If you would like a copy of any personal data held by teachFE.com you should contact
the Data Controller, by emailing enquiries@teachFE.com.
You will be provided with further information on how to make a request. Please
note that teachFE.com reserves the right to require you to provide appropriate proof
of identity before releasing any personal data.
