Adding a vacancy on TeachFE.com

Once you have registered with TeachFE.com, adding a vacancy is easy and free.  Simply follow the guide below.

 

STEP 1 – Logging In

Go to http://www.teachfe.com.  At the top of the screen you will find a ‘college login’ button.
This will take you to the 'College Login' page.
Enter your username (this will be the same as your email address) and password and click the ‘Login’ button.
You will then be taken to your control panel.
If you have forgotten your password, click on ‘forgotten password?’ to have your password emailed to you.

STEP 2 – Accessing the TeachFE.com job builder

Scroll down to ‘Job and Status’.  Click on ‘Add’ at the right of the screen.  This will take you to the TeachFE.com job builder.

STEP 3 – Inputting your Vacancy

Click on the drop-down list titled ‘Select Status’.
Select ‘Active’.

STEP 4 – Job Title and Job Contact

Insert a descriptive title for your vacancy.
Enter the name and email address of the person who you would like job seekers to contact regarding this vacancy.  Any applications to this vacancy will be emailed to this person.

STEP 5 – Application Option

Select how you would prefer job seekers to apply for this post.
If you select ‘Application Pack’, you will receive an application pack request each time a job seeker applies for the vacancy.  The request will be sent by email and will include the applicants name and address.
If you select ‘Online’, the CV’s and contact details for any applicants will be displayed and can be viewed in your control panel.
If you select ‘Post’, applicants will be prompted to post their application to the college.
Selecting ‘Both Online and Post’ will allow the applicant to use either of the above application methods.

STEP 6 – Type of Vacancy

Select whether the vacancy is part time or full time.
Select whether the vacancy is temporary or permanent.
Select the best suited Subject Area or Role Type.

STEP 7 – Your Vacancy Details

Insert the description and requirements for your vacancy.  You are able to write up to 200 words for each.
Insert the salary range for your vacancy.  If you wish to state a single value for your vacancy please enter this in the ‘Up to’ field, leaving the ‘From’ field blank.
For hourly paid vacancies, enter the number of hours a week and the hourly rate.
Insert any extra benefits that are included in the vacancy.
Insert the closing date for applications to this vacancy.

STEP 8 – Uploading your Application Form and Other Documents

If you would like to attach a document with your vacancy, click on one of the ‘Browse…’ buttons, select the document you would like to upload and click ‘Open’.
You can add up to 5 documents per vacancy.

STEP 9 – Posting your Vacancy

Click to confirm that you agree to our Terms and Conditions.  You can view our terms and conditions by click on the orange link.
Click the ‘Add’ button on the bottom right of the screen.
Your job vacancy has now been posted on TeachFE.com.
